Rémi Cèbe is a Member of the Paris Bar and former Head of General Legal Affairs Division at the OECD.
Mr Cèbe began his career as a lawyer at the Paris Bar, advising and litigating on the law of international organisations, international civil service law, international private law, European competition law and criminal law. He subsequently held several positions in international organisations (the OECD, the International Bureau of weights and measures – BIPM) and an NGO (Inter Aide). Over the course of more than 20 years, his roles included Legal Adviser (OECD), Senior Procurement Manager (OECD), Micro-Finance program manager in Madagascar (Inter Aide), Legal Adviser and Deputy Executive Director (BIPM), and most recently Senior Legal Adviser and Head of the General Legal Affairs Division again at the OECD.
In addition to his bar qualifications (EFB, 1994), Mr Cebe holds a Master 2 in « International Administration » and a Master 2 in “European Law” (Paris Panthéon-Assas II University). He also holds a Master 1 in « International and European law » (Aix-Marseille II University), and a common law certificate (Exeter University, UK).
Mr Cèbe has been in charge of teaching the law of international organisations at Paris II University since 2013, for the “International Administration” Master 2. He is a member of the Boards of the Foundation Cassiopée (a registered charity recognized by by a decree of 24 February 2011) and Inter Aide, an NGO specialised in sustainable development programmes.
